CSS Patio Design Gallery
The original CSSPatio site which we are told was launched sometime back in 2008 on the lesser known Pligg CMS had for whatever reason lost momentum. We stepped in moving the site to wordpress and giving it a fresh makeover. The previous design was very involved and made viewing the sites submitted very confusing. We stripped everything away leaving a very simple but crisp interface. 5 star voting was trashed and a more simple “I Like This” click on the heart type voting mechanism was introduced.
The single page view shows each submission at full width with various pieces of metadata to help with filtering and searching. A quick project for us but one that we’re very satisfied with and another example showcasing the ease and benefits of moving to a wordpress powered platform.
